I posted a few days back about the Mutate Britain warm up & now we have some more details including the line up.  Mutate certainly know how to throw a party so this shouldn’t be missed.

MUTATE BRITAIN – GLASTONBURY WARM UP PARTY

‘THE ART OF THE PARTY’ 28TH MAY 2010 @ VILLAGE UNDERGROUND

This is the official Mutate Glastonbury Warm Up party, and it’s going to be a smasher. Village Underground will be adorned with Mutate Britain art, and you’ll be partying amidst the sculpture of the Mutoid Waste Company. If you’ve been to a Mutate event before you’ll know the atmosphere we like to create – and if you haven’t now’s your chance!

DJs on the night will be:
Nihal (Radio 1), Don Letts (6 Music), Femi Fem (Rotation / Young Disciples), Acyde, Big Pink (DJ set), Seb Chew, Ross Allen, Rebel Sonix, Motive (Party ‘n’ Bullshit), No Requests AND Legendary Children

We’re holding on to one more big name and there’s going to be a serious after party from 2am – venue revealed on the night

What’s happening with Dotmasters

Well the man’s been tinkering in his studio again & the results are looking pretty damned good. Un-etched copper sheets with silk screen.

This is an artist who never sleeps & has his finger in so many pies that it’s hard to keep up with him but I do know there are some big mechanical things in the pipeline.

Bill Nighy joins Dotmasters, DrD, David Walker, Teddy Baden, War Boutique, Kennardphillipps, Carrie Reichardt, Wreckage International & Peter Dunne at Cordy House, Shoreditch, London. The Robin Hood Tax were drumming up support with Mutate Britain. An morning press call brought the cameras out on a thankfully sunny day. An article can be found here.
